Mission Statement
The Nassau County Council of School Superintendents (NCCSS) believes that public education is the cornerstone of our communities and that the entire community benefits from sound educational opportunities provided to our children. The NCCSS provides visionary leadership to ensure the communities in Nassau County have the highest quality public education and best educational opportunities for all students.
This is accomplished through:
Advocacy: As the “leadership voice” for children, promoting the value of public education for all students in Nassau County by supporting the development of sound policy, regulation, legislation and practices for all students’ success.
Information Sharing: Collecting, researching and analyzing information concerning public education and sharing best educational practices.
Professional Development: Providing continuous opportunities for professional development to enhance leadership in Nassau County schools.
