Student Scholarship Criteria

Each year, the Nassau County Council of School Superintendents is proud to grant four $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors within Nassau County. One senior from each quadrant is selected.

Please note the following guidelines:

  3. Each quadrant will decide how to collect the entries from their group, but all must be received by the Quadrant Leader no later than April 1 which will then be shared with your counter quadrants.

  4. The Northeast Quadrant will select a recipient from the Northwest Quadrant and vice versa.

  5. The Southeast Quadrant will select a recipient from the Southwest Quadrant and vice versa.

  6. Final decisions on the Quadrant Recipient will be announced no later than May 8th.

  7. The superintendent from each selected district will distribute the award and represent the entire NCCOSS at their own award ceremonies.
